Brightness of burst setting, a special (extra bright) setting that can be used for short periods of time when more light is needed.

Lumens (high)

Brightness of highest setting that can be used continously.

Calc Runtime*

Estimated runtime when brightness is set to high. Our estimate is calculated using the equation below.

runtime = (batt capacity / max lumens) * 130 lumens/W

Note: we assume that the headlamps all use very efficient LEDs with an efficiency of ~130 lumens per Watt.

Batt Cap (Wh)

Amount of energy (Watt-hours) that can be stored in the headlamp's battery system. This value can be used to determine the maximum runtime of the headlamps at various brightness levels.
